HERTZINFARKT - ...die trauen sich was!

Genres: Minimal Wave, Electropop
Released: 2006
Full Size

With the resurgence of synthetic material, Germany (the spiritual home of electronic music) had appeared to have been comparatively quiet but now there appears to be electro-activity. HERTZINFARKT are an electro duo in the EY tradition who sing in their native tongue accompanied by a Teutonic machine-beat, best represented by 'Wir Trauen Uns Was' .

Singer Diana sometimes has nods towards other German songstresses like BILLIE RAY MARTIN of ELECTRIBE101 and CLAUDIA BRUCKEN but as both sang in English, HERTZINFARKT have a character that's all their own. 'In Bild und Ton' as they say! Or maybe even 'Disco Durch Technik'!

Optimism, n.:
The belief that everything is beautiful, including what is ugly, good, bad, and everything right that is wrong. It is held with greatest tenacity by those accustomed to falling into adversity, and most acceptably expounded with the grin that apes a smile. Being a blind faith, it is inaccessible to the light of disproof -- an intellectual disorder, yielding to no treatment but death. It is hereditary, but not contagious.
