Cause + Effect is the brand new In The Nursery remix album from ITN corporation. It is a unique collection features exclusive contributions and special commissions from a wide range of artists including Faith & The Muse, And Also The Trees, Assemblage 23, Flesh Field, Seize & Attrition while IN THE NURSERY include their own interpretation of the well know 'Love Will Tear Us Apart' from Joy Division. It is always interesting to hear other peoples interpretations on songs and this cd was something I was expecting to happen sooner or later from ITN.

What surprised me though, in this cd, were the bands' arrangements on ITN songs. They seemed not only to build upon but also to respect the original composition. Maintaining, although, a new and definitely different point of view, they managed to give the tracks a new meaning. And what a better proof of it when Flesh Field do an amazing work on A Rebours honestly the best remix I've ever heart so far and best song of this cd, Faith and the Muse marrying their unique marks with ITN unique atmosphere on Angelorium, Assemblage 23 adding their unique danceability in Hymn Noir, and In The Nursery's transformation of the legendary song Love Will Tear us apart into an epic orchestral version.

Overall this is a very good and interesting compilation. Once again the production is very good and suits perfectly to the songs, transferring all the necessary atmosphere needed one must have in order to enjoy this cd.
